Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences

Last week was a very busy week. I started with a full day shoot for Lancaster General College of Nursing & Health Sciences. They are working on a new publication and needed some new images for it.

We shot in classrooms with VERY real practice dummies. I mean these things breathe, blink, talk....its a bit creepy but man, these hi-tech tools are the next best thing to practicing on a real person.

The folks at LGH Marketing Department were great to work with and I'm anxious to see the final publication.

We're gonna need a bigger boat.

Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss came to Millersville University campus yesterday to give a presentation titled “Teaching Students How to Think, Not What to Think,: The Basic Tools of Reason, Logic, Dissent, Civility and Debate.”

I was asked to cover the event from the awards dinner before hand to the presentation at the end.

His presentation on civics was extremely interesting and thought provoking. He was a blast to talk to, although he was wisked away before I could ask him what it was like to be on an alien space craft

Tearsheet ::Millersville Review Magazine::

Back some months ago, I had the privilege to visit Lancaster Science Factory to shoot for Millersville Review Magazine. A great new building that allows people of all ages to learn about science in a fun way. Millersville University wanted to do an article on the Science Factory to showcase 2 of its professors who created some of the Factories interactive exhibits.

The Lancaster Science Factory is located at 454 New Holland Ave in the old Kerr Glass building. More information can be found at http://www.lancastersciencefactory.com/

Another Clinton visits Lancaster

With less than 24 hours notice, I found myself photographing Chelsea Clinton's visit to Lancaster while campaigning for her mother.

It was a beautiful day today so shooting outdoors was a welcome change to the recent mixed lighting shots Ive been finding myself in lately.

A modest crowd showed up and the surprise of the day was that Erika Alexander (A.K.A Cousin Pam from The Cosby Show) showed up to say a few words.
